Robberies

We hope you don't have to experience that

Robbery crimes in the sales industry are very complex. They range from simple shop robberies to trick robberies when making a purchase, from bold grabs into the till and break-ins to armed robberies. It is nothing new that the number of property offences in the retail industry is not falling.
The increasing professionalism of the criminals is a problem that has to be dealt with seriously. Professional criminals are not just more difficult to convict of crimes, but also cause the retail industry much more damage. The fact that we are only able to offer information about the elementary safety precautions is therefore obvious.

You should not look primarily at the appearance of people, but at their behaviour (conspicuousness). Only with suitable measures will it be possible to reduce robberies and break-ins and stock differences (customer and supplier offences) to a reasonable level. Employee offences should not be disregarded. These are still a taboo and are worth particular attention when developing a security strategy. The layout of the shop floor, placing departments, selection and designing of fittings and tills as well as installation possibilities for safety technology have to be developed in the sales industry. Prevention in the retail industry is a complex matter. Long-term success in the prevention of crime requires a sensible combination of construction-technical and organisational measures. Organisational measures have an importance that is not to be underestimated.
